At Groves Ministries, we believe that discipleship is more than just going to church or Sunday, or giving money to help with a mission project. Disciples do these things, but we also spend time worshiping, studying, and praying together. In relationship with each other, we grow deeper in faith and wisdom, closer to God, and are able to lead holier and more loving lives.
Groves Ministries offers discipleship opportunities for kids, youth, and adults. Also, United Methodist Women is active arenas for fun and faith formation. Members and friends have many ways to grow in discipleship through supporting the church with their prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness.
In Groves Ministries students have classes each Sunday. The children begin Sunday School as a group for weekly themed bible study with activities.

Vacation Bible School is always fun at Groves Ministries! Our summer VBS program offers kids a week of adventure. We welcome all kids to join us, whether they attend GM or not. Parents and friends are invited to join us each day at 6 p.m. for the closing celebration.
We always need LOTS of help from parents and friends to make VBS a success. Online registration and volunteer sign-up is available a month or two before the event.

As kids head back to school in the fall, churches often gear up with new programming, resuming Wednesday night activities, offering tutoring or after-school care, and collecting school supplies and weekend meals for low-income children. But what about the spiritual needs of children and their families as they head back to school?
This BACKPACK BLESSING or other Back-to-School prayer in worship at the start of the school year can offer encouragement to the excited and comfort to the anxious.
Students in 6th-8th grade participate in a 10-week exploration of their faith guided by the pastor, individual mentors, and parents.
Our emphasis is on helping kids learn to think about their own personal faith in Jesus Christ, rather than on rote memorization. After one-on-one discussions with the pastor, students may choose to confirm their faith and claim the vows made on their behalf in baptism. This usually happens in a special Sunday worship service early in June.
We also welcome older youth and adults who wish to explore their faith, learn about Christianity and Methodism, and renew their vows.
For more information about confirmation, contact Pastor Sanggeun Jo.
BIBLE STUDY Join Pastor Sanggeun Jo and others for a Bible study and refreshments. The group meets at the church. Call Pastor Sam for more information.
UNITED METHODIST WOMEN (UMW) is open to all women of Groves Ministries. The group meets for fellowship, enjoys special programs, and participate in hands on missions, monthly meetings and district events. UMW is a local unit of the global United Methodist Women.
